The Soft-Grip Knife Clamp is a dual thumbscrew clamping accessory designed to securely hold knives during guided sharpening while protecting the blade finish. It is specifically engineered to prevent scratching or marking on coated, polished, or high-finish blades, making it ideal for users who want secure clamping without cosmetic damage.
The soft-grip design provides a more forgiving contact surface compared to standard clamps, while still maintaining firm blade retention for accurate sharpening angles. It is capable of holding most blades up to 7" in length, making it suitable for a wide range of kitchen, outdoor, and utility knives.
This clamp is not recommended for blades 1/2" wide or less, such as small Swiss Army-style blades. For those, a standard knife clamp is required for proper fit and stability.
