The Coarse Grit (250) Diamond Paddle Sharpener is a compact, lightweight sharpening tool designed for reshaping and restoring worn or damaged edges on a variety of cutting and drilling tools. Its small size makes it especially useful in tight spaces or for tasks where larger sharpening stones are impractical.
It features a 3/4" x 2" diamond-coated sharpening surface mounted on a 6" plastic paddle handle, providing controlled handling and precise edge work. The 250-grit coarse diamond surface is intended for initial edge repair and material removal before moving to finer grits for honing and finishing.
This tool is suitable for general sharpening and maintenance of many tools, but it is not recommended for carbide-tipped router bits, as coarse abrasives may damage brittle carbide edges. For heavily worn bits, professional regrinding is advised before maintaining with finer diamond paddles.
